Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Staff Nurse to support doctors and the clinical team in providing quality patient care in an eye clinic. The candidate will assist with OPD procedures, pre- and post-operative care, patient preparation, and maintaining clinical records.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist ophthalmologists during OPD examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare patients for eye examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient information.
- Administer medicines, eye drops, and injections as prescribed by the doctor.
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Maintain proper patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper sterilization of instruments and clinical areas.
- Handle and maintain nursing equipment and supplies.
- Educate patients regarding medicines, eye care, and post-operative instructions.




- Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, OT staff, and other clinic team members.
- Follow all clinic infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
- Provide emergency assistance whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.
- Valid nursing registration.
- 0-2 years of nursing experience preferred; eye clinic/hospital experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of nursing procedures and infection control.
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical team.
- Compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused attitude.

Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Ophthalmology / Eye Hospital / Eye Clinic.
- Knowledge of pre- and post-operative care.
- Comfortable assisting doctors during eye procedures.
- Good documentation and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
