About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and student-focused teacher to teach Social Studies (SST) ( Global Perspectives ) for Classes 1–5, following the Cambridge curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Teach SST and Global Perspectives concepts through activities, discussions, projects, and real-world examples.
- Develop students’ critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and research skills.
- Encourage awareness of different cultures, communities, global issues, and perspectives.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, projects, and assessments.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom setting.
- Participate in school events, projects, activities, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students’ overall development.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Cambridge / IGCSE / international-school experience will be an advantage.
- Strong English communication and classroom-management skills.
- Passionate about activity-based and inquiry-based learning.
- Confident, energetic, creative, and child-friendly approach
