We are seeking an experienced S&T; Technical Project Manager to lead and execute all Signalling and Telecommunication works for a major railway doubling project in Telangana.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end planning, engineering coordination, procurement support, site execution, testing, commissioning and handover of S&T; works in accordance with Railway, RDSO and applicable technical standards.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, site leadership and effective coordination with Railway officials, the Authority Engineer, OEMs, subcontractors and other project disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and execute all Signalling and Telecommunication works for the railway doubling project.
- Review contract requirements, approved drawings, technical specifications, BOQs and applicable Railway/RDSO standards.
- Prepare detailed execution plans, resource schedules, procurement schedules, testing plans and station commissioning programs.
- Manage execution of Electronic Interlocking systems, alteration works and commissioning of new or modified stations.
- Coordinate installation, testing and commissioning of:
- Electronic Interlocking and associated indoor/outdoor signalling equipment
- Multi-Section Digital Axle Counters and Single-Section Digital Axle Counters
- IPS, batteries, battery chargers, power supply and earthing systems
- Signals, points, point machines, track circuits and location boxes
- Relay racks, wiring, cable termination and equipment room installations
- Signalling cables, quad cables, Optical Fibre Cable and telecom cables
- Data loggers, control communication, emergency communication and networking systems
- Passenger information,



public-address and other station telecom systems, wherever applicable
- Coordinate route surveys, cable route plans, cable schedules, location plans, bonding plans and equipment-layout drawings.
- Ensure proper cable trenching, ducting, cable laying, jointing, termination, testing and route-marker installation.
- Review and coordinate preparation and approval of SIPs, ESPs, cable core plans, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, interface drawings and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate S&T; interfaces with Civil, Track, Electrical, OHE and station-building works.
- Identify interface constraints and ensure availability of foundations, equipment rooms, cable crossings, track possessions, power supply and approved drawings.
- Liaise with Railway officers, Construction Organization, Open Line departments, Authority Engineer, RDSO-approved vendors and inspection agencies.
- Manage OEMs, subcontractors, supervisors, technicians and site teams to achieve scheduled targets.
- Conduct daily and weekly progress reviews and submit progress reports to project management.
- Monitor material requirements and support technical evaluation, vendor finalization, inspection and timely procurement.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment conform to approved makes, specifications, inspection requirements and Railway standards.
- Plan traffic blocks, disconnections,



testing activities and station commissioning in coordination with the Railway.
- Prepare testing and commissioning documents, test reports, checklists, completion dossiers and handover records.
- Ensure compliance with site safety, quality and Railway operating requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor measurements, work certification, billing quantities and reconciliation of S&T; materials.
- Identify technical and schedule risks and implement timely corrective actions.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation, testing and commissioning.
- Ensure timely completion of snag rectification and successful handover to the Railway/Open Line organization.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong practical knowledge of Indian Railways Signalling and Telecommunication systems.
- Experience in railway doubling, new line, gauge conversion, station-yard remodelling or major S&T; alteration projects.
- Sound understanding of Railway and RDSO specifications, drawings, inspection procedures, testing requirements and commissioning practices.
- Ability to independently manage S&T; works across multiple stations and block sections.
- Strong knowledge of Electronic Interlocking, axle counters, IPS systems, signalling cables, OFC networks and station telecom systems.
- Ability to read and review SIPs, cable plans, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
- Positive coordination, documentation, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and during traffic blocks, night works and commissioning periods when required.
