Job Summary
Verification and Validation (VV) Engineer with 1-3 years of experience will test and validate Telematics Control Units (TCUs) and connected vehicle features.
Role Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases for telematics features like GNSS/GPS, and Wi-Fi.
- Protocol Testing: Validate vehicle communication networks and diagnostic protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS).
- Logging Debugging: Capture and analyze logs using standard industry tools to isolate software vs. hardware defects.
- Test Automation: Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts to reduce manual testing efforts.
- Documentation: Participate in requirement analysis, write test specifications, and track defects using project management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics and Communication (ECE), Electrical,
or Computer Science.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on embedded software testing experience or relevant academic/training projects in the automotive domain.
Key Skills
- Protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, TCP/IP.
- Tools: Vector CANoe, CANalyzer.
- Scripting Languages: CAPL, Python, or Shell Scripting.
- Tracking Tools: JIRA, Confluence, or Doors.
- Core Concepts: V-Model, Basic RTOS/Linux concepts, and ASPICE awareness
