Roles and Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day spare parts operations, including receipt, storage, issue, and movement of materials.

- Ensure timely availability of critical and operational spare parts as per business requirements.

- Monitor inventory levels, minimum/maximum stock, reorder levels, and safety stock.

- Track consumption patterns and prepare spare parts replenishment requirements.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Maintenance, Operations, Stores, and vendors for timely material availability.

- Monitor stock-outs, excess inventory, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete spare parts.

- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and ERP/SAP inventory records.

- Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, preservation, and location management of spare parts.

- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely ERP/SAP transactions.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory MIS and management reports.

- Analyze inventory data and identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction.





- Monitor critical and high-value spare parts and ensure proper inventory control.

- Coordinate with suppliers for pending orders, delivery schedules, and urgent material requirements.

- Ensure compliance with SOPs, 5S, safety, audit, and inventory control procedures.

- Support inventory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

- Implement Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives in spare parts and inventory operations.

Job Requirements :

- 6-10 years' experience in spare parts management or related field.

- Strong knowledge of Spare Part Operations.

- Excellent inventory management skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

- Experience in automotive/manufacturing/logistics industry will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of inventory management, ABC analysis, FIFO, stock control, and material planning.

- Hands-on experience in SAP/ERP and MS Excel.

- Robust analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage critical material requirements and work within defined timelines.
