Role & responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across project sites.

- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify unsafe conditions and practices.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, health, environmental, and statutory requirements.

- Prepare and implement Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment, Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work systems.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

- Conduct safety induction, toolbox talks, training programs, and emergency preparedness drills for employees and contractors.

- Monitor PPE compliance, work-at-height, lifting, excavation, electrical, confined-space, and other high-risk activities.

- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and management to improve safety performance and close HSE observations.

- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident statistics, training records, and monthly MIS.

- Drive a robust safety culture and support continuous improvement to achieve zero major accidents and statutory non-compliance.
