The Position
- As an Associate Project Manager, you are expected to work with other GBS Consulting Project managers to support them drive key strategic initiatives for GBS. You will be assisting in various projects and leading some on a need basis. Projects could be cross-functional in nature, could be driving GBS 2026 strategy etc. You will be responsible for the following:
- Strategy Consulting & Business Solutioning
- Partner with global stakeholders (e.g., IO-SO, HQ) and internal GBS organisation as well as functional leadership to drive strategic consulting projects across research, drug development, regulatory, medical affairs, safety, quality, supply chain, commercial, marketing, and other areas.
- Drive workshops to solve problems at hand and facilitate stakeholders in decision-making.




- Project Management - Prepare project plans including project scoping, design, validation and implementation phases, monitor project progress and escalate risks in appropriate forums to ensure successful project completion, track project meetings (MoM, agenda), project documentation (Case study, MoM, Memo etc.)
- Keep updated on industry best practices in the field of change mgmt., GBS evolution and transformation best practices
- Support GBS consulting colleagues as part of project workstreams to drive key strategic initiatives
- Ad-hoc activities for General Management including supporting GBS management meetings through presentations, driving the agenda, ad hoc analyses.
- Use problem solving skills to come up with a solution, design the solutions and work with the stakeholders to finalise approach
- Prepare tools and templates that would help in delivering the project milestones, Drive workshops to solve the problem at hand
