Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sp3d Designer role based in Panvel. The Sp3d Designer will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models of piping layouts, equipment, and supporting structures using specialized design software.

The role includes interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring that designs meet safety, quality, and code requirements. Daily tasks involve updating models and drawings based on review comments, preparing isometric and layout drawings, and maintaining accurate documentation within the project database. The designer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams,



participate in design reviews, and support field or fabrication teams with clear, detailed design information.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong 3D design and modeling skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Smart 3D/Sp3d or similar piping design software).
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of piping layouts, equipment arrangement, and basic understanding of relevant codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs;, and technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid CAD skills and attention to detail for preparing accurate layout, isometric, and fabrication drawings.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other designers.
- Candidates should possess valuable organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, piping engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in industrial, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects, especially in piping design, will be an added advantage.
