About the Role

Galaxy Weblinks is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect Consultant with strong exposure to backend technologies, cloud, DevOps, databases, and AI/LLM solutions .

The ideal candidate should be technology-agnostic and capable of understanding complex business and technical requirements, assessing existing systems, identifying gaps, and designing practical, scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions across different technology ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Application Architecture

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable end-to-end technology solutions.
- Assess existing applications, architectures, codebases, integrations, and technology stacks.
- Recommend build, reuse, refactor, migrate, or rebuild strategies based on business requirements, technical feasibility, cost, and long-term value.
- Design high-level solution architectures covering applications, APIs, databases, integrations, cloud, security, and infrastructure.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, scalability challenges, and modernization opportunities.

Backend & Technology Architecture

- Solid understanding of multiple backend technologies such as Python, .NET/.NET Core, Node.js , and related frameworks.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate backend technologies based on project requirements.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, integrations, authentication, and API architecture .
- Review existing backend architecture and provide recommendations for performance, scalability, maintainability, and modernization.

AI, Generative AI & LLM

- Good exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, and AI agents .
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI/LLM capabilities into existing and new applications.




- Recommend appropriate AI architecture, models, APIs, frameworks, and integration approaches.
- Assess AI solutions from the perspective of scalability, security, performance, data privacy, and cost .
- Provide architectural guidance for AI-powered applications and automation.

Cloud & DevOps Architecture

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Assess existing cloud infrastructure, deployment architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and operational processes.
- Design and recommend scalable cloud-native and DevOps solutions .
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git, monitoring, logging, and observability .
- Evaluate deployment, release, environment, and infrastructure strategies for reliability and scalability.
- Recommend solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, security, performance, and cloud cost optimization .
- Identify infrastructure and DevOps bottlenecks and provide practical recommendations for improvement.

Database & Data Architecture

- Review database architecture, data models, queries, stored procedures, performance, and scalability.
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL , with awareness of NoSQL databases.
- Evaluate database technology choices and recommend appropriate solutions based on application and business requirements.
- Provide recommendations for database performance, scalability, migration, and modernization.

Architecture Assessment & Consulting





- Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of existing applications and platforms.
- Identify architecture gaps, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, infrastructure risks, and modernization opportunities.
- Compare alternative technologies and provide clear technical recommendations with business justification .
- Work with stakeholders and engineering teams to explain proposed solutions and architectural decisions.
- Provide high-level technical direction to development, DevOps, and engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technology consulting.
- Strong experience designing end-to-end enterprise solution architectures .
- Good exposure to multiple backend technologies, particularly Python, .NET/.NET Core, and Node.js .
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, integrations, and application architecture .
- Good exposure to AI, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents .
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP .
- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices , including Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server/PostgreSQL and exposure to NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of cloud security, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews, technology assessments, modernization initiatives, and build-vs-buy/rebuild evaluations .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend the right technology and architecture for a given business problem .
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
