Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer II to enhance our quality assurance efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. In this mid-level role, you will take a more advanced position in designing, executing and automating test processes to ensure the quality and performance of our software products.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers and other QA engineers, to identify and resolve issues while improving the testing lifecycle. This role is ideal for a professional with solid testing experience, a proactive mindset and a desire to drive quality at every stage of the software development process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing across different stages of the software development lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration and performance testing.
- Identify, document and track defects using defect management tools and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential risks in the software.
- Perform code reviews for test automation scripts and assist in enhancing the automation framework.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to ensure quality is integrated into the development cycle.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior test engineers, offering advice on best practices and troubleshooting.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with recent testing tools, trends and industry best practices to drive innovation and improvements in testing procedures.




- Leverage AI-powered testing tools and assistants to enhance test coverage, accelerate defect detection, and improve the overall efficiency of the testing process.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites using frameworks such as Selenium or playwright; contribute to integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Support testing of cloud-based applications deployed on platforms such as Azure, including understanding of cloud environments, services, and test execution in cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with defect management and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly report defects and test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet internal and external deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript or similar.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tool and an understanding of how AI/ML features impact testing strategies and test data requirements.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and CI tools is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and the ability to execute tests against cloud-hosted applications and environments.
- Previous experience with Reconciliation and/or month-end close applications is preferred.
