Software Developer MicroStation VBA (Photogrammetry & LIDAR)

We are looking for a Software Developer MicroStation VBA with hands-on experience in developing automation solutions for MicroStation V8/V8i. The ideal candidate should have expertise in VBA programming, PostgreSQL, and geospatial data processing, with exposure to Photogrammetry and LIDAR workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom VBA-based automation tools and add-ins for MicroStation V8/V8i.
- Design and implement scripts/macros to automate Photogrammetry and LIDAR data processing workflows.
- Automate point cloud processing, feature extraction, and handling of various geometry types including points, lines, polygons, complex shapes, and cells.
- Integrate PostgreSQL databases for productive management of large-scale geospatial datasets.
- Collaborate with technical teams to automate repetitive tasks, optimize workflows, and improve overall productivity.
- Troubleshoot,



debug, and enhance existing automation tools.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in MicroStation V8/V8i VBA development.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience in MicroStation automation and CAD customization.
- Understanding of Photogrammetry and LIDAR data processing concepts.
- Knowledge of Python or .NET is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Terrasolid or similar photogrammetry software is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Geoinformatics, GIS, or a related engineering discipline.
- MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science/Geoinformatics) candidates may also apply.
