Role Description The Soft Skill Trainer will design and deliver engaging training sessions that build communication, confidence, and workplace readiness among youth and transgender participants. This full-time, on-site role in Ankleshwar involves conducting interactive workshops, role plays, and group activities, as well as one-on-one mentoring when needed.

The trainer will assess participant needs, create training plans, prepare materials, and evaluate progress through feedback and performance metrics. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with program staff, documenting sessions and outcomes, and continuously improving training content based on participant responses and organizational goals. The role also requires building trust with participants, promoting an inclusive learning environment,



and representing Pahal’s values in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Strong soft skills training capabilities, including facilitation of communication, teamwork, leadership, and emotional intelligence sessions.
- Experience in youth development, mentoring, counseling, or community-based training, preferably with diverse and marginalized groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in simple, engaging ways.
- Proven ability to design training modules, prepare learning materials, and use interactive teaching methods.
- High level of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to gender-neutral, non-discriminatory practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including session planning, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (presentation software, online resources) to support training delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a trainer, teacher, or facilitator in NGO, education, or corporate settings is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Ankleshwar and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
