About the role

Stock Bazaar is a portfolio analytics and market intelligence platform for Indian retail investors. We're hiring a Social Media Strategist to own our organic presence end-to-end — from platform strategy down to the copy and hooks that actually earn a save.

You'll run content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and WhatsApp, own the numbers that matter (reach, retention, saves, follower quality, cost per acquisition), and run the tests that tell us what's working.

This is a hands-on role in a small team with real editorial ownership and direct access to the founder. You'll see the impact of your decisions within the week, not the quarter.

What you'll do

- Build and own the content calendar across platforms, and the strategy behind it
- Turn market data, our daily pre-market report and product features into content people save and share
- Write copy yourself — captions, hooks, scripts, carousels, threads
- Brief and work with design; comfortable enough in Canva or Figma to mock up an idea
- Run and read the analytics, and report them to the founder weekly




- Test relentlessly — formats, hooks, timings — and kill what doesn't work
- Track competitors and the wider fintech creator landscape in India
- Work within SEBI advertising norms: educational content, no buy/sell/hold calls, mandatory disclaimers. We'll train you on this, but you need to respect the line

What we're looking for

- 2–4 years running social for a brand or creator, ideally fintech, finance, or B2C SaaS
- Robust with numbers. You should be able to look at a month of platform data and tell us what to do differently, not just what happened
- Working fluency with AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, video and editing tools — for research, drafting, repurposing and production speed. We want someone who uses AI to ship more, but who edits everything and never publishes something they can't defend
- Self-directed. This is a small team; nobody will hand you a brief
