CNC Operator-cum-Programmer - Job Description

Position: CNC Operator-cum-Programmer
Experience: 3+ Years
Department: Production / Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC machines such as VMC, HMC, CNC Turning, and Milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Prepare CNC programs using G-code and M-code as per component requirements.
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and work offsets for production.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure product quality within tolerance limits.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments during production.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic machine issues.




- Maintain production records and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Follow safety standards, 5S, and company quality procedures.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup.
- Understanding of measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; basics.
- Familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi controllers.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as CNC Operator-cum-Programmer in manufacturing industry.

Pay: ₹15,347.30 - ₹30,946.43 per month
