Job Description (JD) - Speech Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Kozhikode, Kerala
Department: Child Development Centre / Hospital / Rehabilitation Centre
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults. The therapist will work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized therapy programs and improve communication outcomes. (Betterteam)

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments
- Diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized therapy and intervention plans
- Provide one-on-one and/or group therapy sessions
- Maintain therapy records, progress reports, and clinical documentation
- Educate and guide parents/caregivers on home-based therapy techniques
- Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and special educators




- Monitor patient progress and revise therapy plans when required
- Use evidence-based therapy methods and AAC tools where applicable
- Participate in case discussions, awareness programs, and career development activities (Betterteam)

Qualification & Eligibility
- BASLP / MASLP (Bachelor's or Master's in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology)
- Valid RCI Registration preferred/mandatory
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills (Recruit.net)
