Position Overview

TutorCloud is hiring an Associate Manager for Social Media Marketing to build our social presence from the ground up. For most schools, teachers, and parents, social media is the first place they'll come across

TutorCloud, long before anyone books a demo. You'll be setting the cadence, the content, and the creator relationships from scratch, across India, the US, and UAE, and each of those markets has a different audience with different reasons to care.

Part of this job is also building out our influencer and creator work. We don't want this treated as a side project tacked onto regular posting; it should function as its own channel. Teacher influencers, parenting and education creators, and smaller community voices tend to carry more trust than anything we could post ourselves. You'll find these people, work out partnerships with them, and make sure it adds up to something ongoing rather than a handful of one-time posts.

Key Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Execution

Plan and run the social calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube/Shorts, and Facebook, keeping it in step with campaigns and events.

Manage day to day community interactions, replying to comments and messages in a tone that actually sounds like us Keep tabs on relevant conversations and trends across our markets so content ideas aren't coming from a vacuum





Build out strategy separately for India (teachers and school decision makers), the US (district leaders and parents), and UAE (schools), since these audiences don't respond to the same messaging

Brief the copy, design, and video team clearly enough that they're not guessing what you need.

Take events, webinars, and thought leadership pieces (like exec interviews or op-eds) and turn them into ongoing content rather than a single post Shoot and edit quick, lightweight content on your own when needed, phone reels, quick clips from an event floor, that kind of thing, so you're not always waiting on the video editor.

Track and report on performance: reach, engagement, and how social is actually contributing to leads and event ROI.

Influencer & Creator Partnerships

Build a working list of relevant creators and influencers across India, the US, and UAE, from teacher influencers to parenting and education content creators Handle the full loop with creators: reaching out, briefing them, negotiating terms, and tracking how each partnership performs.

Guide the tone and script direction for creator content, Hinglish and English for India, English for the US and UAE

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days





There's a real content calendar running across the main platforms, with a posting rhythm that's holding up.

First phase of influencer or creator partnerships are already briefed and moving A first performance baseline exists, so from month two onward, growth gets measured against actual numbers rather than a guess.

Who You Are

3 to 5 years in social media, with real experience managing influencer or creator relationships, not just organic posting

You're equally comfortable planning the strategy and doing the daily execution yourself

Some basic shooting and editing ability, phone or camera, plus something like CapCut or Premiere Rush.

No need to be a trained editor, just quick on your feet

Used to working closely with design, video, and copy people, and know how to brief them well.

You look at the numbers regularly and actually change what you're doing based on them

EdTech, SaaS, or consumer education background helps, but it's not a dealbreaker.
