We’re looking for a creative, proactive and hands-on Social Media Intern to own the end-to-end social media content process at Navigators Financial Services - from strategy and ideas to shooting, editing, publishing and performance tracking .

What You’ll Do

- Develop and execute the social media strategy for Navigators across Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Research audiences, trends and financial topics to identify content opportunities and themes .
- Develop content ideas, topics, hooks and creative concepts that make financial topics straightforward, relevant and engaging.
- Write scripts, captions and content briefs for Reels, carousels, posts and other formats.
- Plan and shoot Reels and short-form videos
- including setting up shots, recording, directing people on camera and capturing supporting footage.

- Take ownership of the end-to-end content production process , from idea to final published post.
- Edit Reels, short-form videos, carousels, static posts and other social media content.
- Manage the content calendar and publish/schedule content consistently.
- Experiment with different formats, hooks,



topics and storytelling styles to improve reach and engagement.
- Track content performance including reach, views, engagement, followers and other relevant metrics.
- Analyse what is working and use insights to continuously improve the content strategy.
- Collaborate with the financial advisory team to turn financial knowledge, market updates and client questions into engaging social content.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, LinkedIn and current social media trends.
- Comfortable being hands-on with shooting videos and creating content , not just managing a content calendar.
- Good understanding of short-form video storytelling, hooks and audience retention.
- Strong creative thinking and ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta/Insta Editing Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar .
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and content performance.
- Proactive, curious and willing to experiment and learn.
- A portfolio, personal Instagram page, Reels or other examples of content created by you will be a strong advantage.
