The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Intern who is curious, creative and excited to learn.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be asked to post pictures every day.

You'll get the opportunity to understand how a premium creative brand thinks, communicates and grows online from coming up with content ideas and writing captions to understanding trends, studying analytics and figuring out why some content works better than others.

You’ll work closely with our team and get hands-on exposure to the world of social media, content creation, branding, photography, weddings and digital marketing.

If you’re someone who notices a great Reel, wonders “Why did this work?”, has ideas for how a brand could do something differently, or simply loves creating things, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Explore

Your day-to-day work may include:

- Coming up with creative ideas for Reels, posts, carousels, stories and other social content
- Helping plan and maintain our social media content calendar
- Writing captions, hooks, headlines and other content that sounds like HiQ
- Finding compelling ways to tell stories using our photography and films
- Keeping an eye on social media trends, formats, sounds and conversations
- Exploring what other brands and competitors are doing and identifying ideas worth learning from
- Helping create and schedule content across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
- Understanding what makes content engaging, shareable and memorable




- Looking at social media analytics and learning what the numbers are telling us
- Tracking the performance of our content and suggesting what we could try next
- Engaging with our audience through comments, messages and conversations
- Working with photographers, cinematographers, designers and the wider team to bring content ideas to life
- Exploring new content formats and experimenting with creative approaches
- Maintaining a growing bank of content ideas so that there is always something interesting to create

What We’re Looking For You don't need years of experience.

You need curiosity and the willingness to learn

We'd love to meet someone who:

- Is genuinely interested in social media and content creation
- Is naturally creative and enjoys coming up with ideas
- Has a good eye for visuals, composition and aesthetics
- Enjoys writing and knows how to make words interesting
- Is curious about why certain content gets attention
- Is comfortable learning new tools and platforms
- Pays attention to trends without simply copying them
- Is willing to experiment, make mistakes and try again
- Can organise ideas and manage multiple small tasks
- Is proactive and doesn't wait to be told what to do every five minutes
- Has an interest in photography, films, weddings, fashion, design, branding or storytelling

Skills That Would Be Great to Have You don't need to know everything but if you already have experience with any of these, that's a bonus:
- Any short-form video editing tools
- Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube or other social platforms
- Canva
- Basic photography or videography
- Writing captions or social media copy
- Creating Reels or short-form videos




- Understanding Instagram Insights or other analytics
- Content planning tools

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to learn. During your internship, you'll get exposure to much more than posting on social media.

You don't need to arrive knowing everything.

You just need to arrive with ideas, curiosity and the willingness to learn.
