About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to platform management and development.

This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the ServiceNow platform, developing automation solutions, and integrating with third-party systems to optimize enterprise workflows. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide mentorship and share best practices to ensure the platform’s stability, security, and performance. This is a temporary assignment offering an opportunity to work on challenging projects in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the digital transformation initiatives of our clients.

Qualifications The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years dedicated to ServiceNow platform development and implementation. A strong technical background in JavaScript and XML is essential, along with hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.



Knowledge of ServiceNow Platform Products such as ITSM, ITAM, HAM, SAM, CSM, and ITOM is required.

Experience with Scoped and Custom Applications, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer will be advantageous. Candidates should have a proven track record of planning and executing ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and maintenance activities. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Relevant

ServiceNow certifications, including Application Developer and Certified System Administrator, on the latest supported versions, are highly desirable.

Responsibilities The Senior ServiceNow Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key responsibilities include managing daily administration tasks such as routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades; developing reliable applications, workflows, and automation to streamline business processes; and implementing integrations with third-party systems to enhance platform capabilities. The role also involves improving development practices to accelerate delivery without compromising quality, applying best practices for configuration and development, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of technical designs and configurations.

Additional responsibilities include promoting continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing platform performance,



and ensuring compliance with security standards. The engineer will implement reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and provide mentorship to team members through knowledge sharing and example setting. Ensuring smooth adoption of platform upgrades and patches, maintaining instance health, and adhering to ServiceNow best practices are integral parts of this role.

The candidate will also be expected to apply thought leadership to understand dependencies, maintain security, and ensure the overall stability and performance of the platform.
