Position Overview

- The Service & Commissioning Engineer will support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer support activities for PDUs, RPPs, SCVS, transformers, and electrical distribution systems across India.
- The role will play a key part in delivering reliable after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the growth of Rishab Industries’ direct market presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of PDUs, RPPs, SCVS, transformers, and electrical distribution systems.
- Independently lead site commissioning activities and obtain customer sign-off.

- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and project teams during commissioning activities.
- Attend breakdown calls and provide timely technical support.

- Diagnose electrical, control, protection, and communication-related faults.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support warranty claims and technical issue resolution.

- Ensure service requests are closed within committed timelines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance visits and equipment health assessments.
- Support Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) activities.

- Maintain detailed service records, maintenance history, and commissioning documentation.
- Train customer operations and maintenance teams during project handover.




- Act as the primary technical interface between customers and factory teams for service-related matters.

- Work closely with Design, Production, Quality, and Project teams to resolve field issues.
- Assist in development of service procedures, commissioning formats, checklists, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of PDUs, RPPs, LT Panels, SCVS, Transformers, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Understanding of IEC 61439 panel systems.
- Hands-on experience with MCCBs, ACBs, busbar systems, protection relays, energy meters, PLCs, and communication devices.

- Ability to read and interpret SLDs, GA Drawings, Control Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, and Protection Drawings.
- Familiarity with power quality issues and electrical fault diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with Multimeter, Megger, Power Analyzer, and electrical testing equipment.

Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience Requirement
- 5–8 years of experience in commissioning, service, or maintenance of PDUs, RPPs, LT Panels, UPS Systems, SCVS, Transformers, or Data Centre Electrical Infrastructure.

- Data Centre project experience will be preferred.

Travel Requirement
- Extensive travel across India.

Short-notice travel may be required for critical customer support situations
