Waterjet propulsion and control systems

Davits and lifeboat systems

Cranes

Steering gear systems

Waste heat recovery systems

Interceptors

Deck machinery and related equipment

Location & Travel Requirements

Extensive travel within India will be required.

Candidate should be willing to work on weekends and during emergency service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the service team for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute service projects efficiently.
- Ensure projects are completed within schedule, budget, and required quality standards.
- Provide technical support to customers, shipyards, and internal teams.
- Coordinate with OEMs and manufacturers on technical matters and product updates.
- Conduct training programs for customers, shipyards, and service engineers.
- Prepare service reports, technical documentation, maintenance schedules, and spare parts recommendations.
- Maintain service records and update information in Zoho CRM / Projects.
- Support both mechanical and electrical/control systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.

Background & Experience





- Minimum 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience in marine service and troubleshooting.
- Strong practical experience in electrical systems, control systems, and onboard machinery.
- Experience with engines, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, thrusters, propulsion systems, steering gear systems, deck machinery, and related marine equipment.
- Dry dock, ship repair, or shipyard experience will be an added advantage.
- Must have experience in leading and managing service teams.
- Ability to independently handle customer interactions and site activities.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on electrical and control system experience.
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Well-organized, responsible, and customer-oriented approach.
- High level of dedication and willingness to learn.

Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech in Marine, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines.

Maritime industry experience is mandatory.

Experience in OEM service, ship repair, dry dock, or marine equipment service will be preferred.
