About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy SEO & AI Digital Marketing Intern to join our team in Thane West.

The role will primarily involve supporting our SEO and digital marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on backlink building, off-page SEO, link prospecting, competitor research, content opportunities, and SEO analysis.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable using AI tools and large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT and other AI platforms to research, analyze, organize, and execute SEO backlinking tasks efficiently.

This is a hands-on, in-office internship where you will work on real client SEO campaigns and learn how professional SEO campaigns are planned, executed, documented, and measured.

Key ResponsibilitiesBacklink & Off-Page SEO

- Research and identify relevant, high-quality backlink opportunities.
- Find websites, blogs, directories, publications, forums, business listings, and other relevant platforms suitable for link acquisition.
- Analyze competitors' backlink profiles and identify potential link opportunities.
- Evaluate backlink opportunities based on domain authority, relevance, traffic, quality, and likelihood of obtaining a link.
- Research appropriate anchor text for target pages and keywords.
- Identify opportunities for guest posts, resource links, citations, business listings, editorial links, and other legitimate link-building methods.
- Assist in outreach research and preparation.
- Maintain detailed records of backlinks researched, acquired, rejected, or pending.
- Monitor existing backlinks and identify broken, lost, or potentially harmful links.
- Help develop backlink strategies for individual keywords and landing pages.

AI-Assisted SEO
- Use AI models such as ChatGPT and other AI tools to accelerate SEO research and execution.
- Use AI to analyze large amounts of backlink and competitor data.
- Create effective prompts for SEO research, competitor analysis, content research, and link-building tasks.
- Use AI to identify relevant websites and backlink opportunities.
- Use AI to research and suggest appropriate anchor text and contextual placement.
- Use AI to assist with outreach emails, content briefs, article ideas, and link-building campaigns.




- Verify and fact-check AI-generated information before using it.
- Develop efficient AI-assisted workflows for repetitive SEO tasks.

SEO Research & Reporting
- Conduct keyword and competitor research.
- Analyze SERPs and identify websites ranking for target keywords.
- Research websites that could potentially link to our clients.
- Maintain SEO and backlink tracking spreadsheets.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports documenting completed work.
- Provide evidence/proof of completed backlink research and acquisition activities.
- Assist senior team members with other SEO and digital marketing tasks as required.

What We Are Looking For - Essential Skills

- Good understanding of SEO fundamentals, particularly off-page SEO and backlinks.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Strong internet research skills.
- Good written English.
- Ability to identify whether a website is genuinely relevant and valuable for a backlink.
- Comfortable using AI tools to complete research and marketing tasks.
- Willingness to learn new SEO and AI tools quickly.

AI Skills – Important The candidate should be well versed in using AI models to accomplish practical tasks, rather than simply knowing how to ask basic questions in ChatGPT. You should be comfortable with:

- ChatGPT and other AI/LLM platforms.
- Writing effective prompts.
- Breaking a large task into smaller AI-assisted workflows.
- Providing structured instructions and data to AI models.
- Reviewing and correcting AI-generated output.
- Using AI for research, analysis, categorization, content development, and repetitive tasks.
- Finding ways to improve productivity using AI.

Candidates who demonstrate strong practical AI usage will be preferred.

Employment Type: Full-time Internship

During the internship, the candidate will work on real-world SEO and backlinking projects rather than only theoretical assignments.

Performance will be evaluated throughout the internship.
