Role Description The Senior User Experience Designer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with the salon’s leadership to translate the brand’s creative vision into digital and in-salon experiences. This role involves researching customer journeys, defining experience strategies, and designing intuitive interfaces and touchpoints across websites, booking systems, and in-salon digital interactions.

The designer will create wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts that reflect the brand’s aesthetic while improving usability and accessibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research,



facilitating design workshops, iterating on concepts based on feedback, and partnering with developers, marketers, and salon staff to ensure cohesive execution.

The Senior User Experience

Designer is expected to champion user-centered design, maintain design standards, and contribute to long-term experience innovation for HAIR RAP BY YOYO.

Qualifications

- Ability to apply Design Thinking and User Experience (UX) principles to create user-centered solutions.
- Strong User Research skills, including planning studies, conducting interviews or observations, and synthesizing insights.
- Proficiency in Visual Design, with the ability to align digital and physical touchpoints to the salon’s brand identity.
- Experience with Prototyping, wireframing, and interaction design using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX work for customer-facing products or services.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative, technical, and operations teams.
- Experience designing for retail, hospitality, or beauty/wellness environments is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a quick-paced, client-focused setting and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
