- Plan and deliver engaging Telugu lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
- Teach Telugu grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and literature.
- Use innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and activity-based learning.
- Ensure lessons are suitable for students of different learning abilities.
- Complete the syllabus within the academic schedule.
1. Student Learning and Development
- Develop students’ Telugu speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
- Encourage students to communicate in Telugu confidently.
- Improve pronunciation, handwriting, spelling, and sentence formation.
- Provide individual attention and remedial support to slow learners.
- Encourage creativity through storytelling, poetry, essays, and presentations.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and learning outcomes.
1. Assessment and Evaluation
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, and examinations.
- Conduct periodic tests, assessments, and oral activities.
- Evaluate answer sheets and maintain accurate marks records.
- Provide constructive feedback to students.
- Identify learning gaps and prepare improvement plans.
- Submit assessment reports and academic records on time.
1. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning setting.
- Encourage student participation and respectful communication.
- Implement school rules and classroom procedures.
- Ensure proper classroom organization and student safety.
- Promote teamwork, confidence, and good values among students.
1. Academic Coordination
- Coordinate with the Telugu department and other subject teachers.
- Support the Academic Coordinator and Principal in academic planning.
- Participate in department meetings and curriculum reviews.
- Prepare academic reports and submit them within deadlines.
- Assist in developing teaching resources and subject plans.
- Mentor junior Telugu teachers and share effective teaching practices.
1. Telugu Language and Cultural Activities
- Organize Telugu language competitions, elocution, essay writing, and poetry recitation.
- Conduct activities for Telugu Day, cultural celebrations, and literary events.
- Encourage students to learn about Telugu literature, traditions, and culture.
- Prepare students for inter-school competitions and cultural programs.
- Promote interest in Telugu language and reading.
1. Parent Communication
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and discuss students’ progress.
- Communicate students’ academic performance and areas of improvement.
- Address parent concerns professionally.
- Maintain regular communication with parents when required.
- Provide guidance to parents on supporting Telugu learning at home.
1. Senior Teacher Responsibilities
- Guide and support junior Telugu teachers.
- Review lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment standards when assigned.
- Ensure consistency in Telugu teaching practices across grades.
- Share subject knowledge and classroom best practices.
- Support the Academic Coordinator in department-related responsibilities.
- Take responsibility for the academic quality of the Telugu department.
1. School Duties and Compliance
- Follow school policies, academic guidelines, and reporting procedures.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, PTMs, and school events.
- Complete assigned non-teaching and academic duties on time.
- Maintain professional conduct and teamwork.
- Ensure all assigned responsibilities are completed as per management expectations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telugu.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school policy.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience; senior-level experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Telugu grammar, literature, and language teaching.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools and prepare academic resources.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Passion for teaching and student development.

- Syllabus completion within the academic calendar.
- Improvement in students’ Telugu language skills and academic results.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
