About the Role
We are looking for a disciplined and experienced Accountant for our factory operations who can independently handle day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, inventory-linked accounting, and Tally operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Tally Operations
- Daily accounting entries in Tally Prime / Tally ERP
- Purchase, sales, receipt, payment, contra, and journal entries
- Ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance
- Vendor and customer account reconciliation
- Expense booking and verification
GST & Compliance
- Preparation and filing of GST returns
- GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and GST working
- Input credit verification and GST ledger reconciliation
- Coordination with CA and auditors during assessments and audits
- Basic knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance
Inventory & Factory Accounting
- Inventory-linked accounting in Tally
- Stock verification and stock reconciliation
- Coordination with stores and dispatch departments
- Raw material and finished goods accounting
- Monitoring inward and outward material entries
- Understanding of manufacturing accounting processes
Documentation & Administrative Work
- Maintaining proper accounting records and supporting documents
- Handling personal file accounting and employee-related documentation
- Managing vouchers, invoices, challans, and filing systems
- Preparation of MIS reports as required by management
Desired Skills
- Positive knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP
- Strong understanding of GST and inventory accounting
- Good Excel knowledge
- Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
