Job Description - Junior Mechanical Engineer

Position: Junior Mechanical Engineer
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1-3 Years
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Handling purchase activities for mechanical and fabrication-related materials.
- Preparing and processing purchase orders, quotations, and vendor comparisons.
- Coordinating with suppliers for material availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Maintaining purchase records, invoices, and documentation.
- Following up with vendors for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Assisting in office-related engineering documentation and reporting work.
- Coordinating with production/workshop/site teams for material requirements.
- Preparing Excel reports, stock records, and material tracking sheets.
- Assisting management in day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.
- Ensuring proper communication with clients,



vendors, and transport agencies when required.

Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication materials, and engineering drawings.
- Valuable communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively.
- Basic understanding of purchase procedures and vendor management.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Diploma or B.E. Mechanical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience.
- Experience in fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial projects will be preferred.

Salary

Salary will be offered based on experience, knowledge, and interview performance.
