Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project specifications
- Calculate material quantities and prepare quantity take-offs
- Estimate project costs including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams
- Prepare rate analysis and cost comparison statements
- Monitor project costs and support budget control activities
- Assist in tendering, estimation, and quotation preparation
- Track variations, additional works, and billing quantities
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for commercial clarifications
- Maintain estimation records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure accuracy in measurements and project costing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or tendering
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
- Experience in construction, interiors, MEP, or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of material costing and project budgeting
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
- Solid analytical and communication skills
