Experience Required:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience as PGT Chemistry in a CBSE-affiliated school
- Proven experience in teaching Classes XI & XII
Role Overview:
The PGT Chemistry teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Chemistry to senior secondary students, ensuring strong conceptual clarity, excellent board results, and fostering analytical and scientific thinking in alignment with CBSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:Academic Delivery:
- Teach Chemistry to Classes XI & XII as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines:
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, assignments, and study materials
- Simplify complex chemical concepts through practical examples and demonstrations
- Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and revisions
Student Performance & Results:
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations with a focus on achieving solid results
- Monitor student progress and provide remedial classes where necessary
- Support students in building a foundation for competitive exams (NEET/JEE - basic level)
Laboratory Management:
- Plan and conduct Chemistry practicals effectively as per CBSE norms
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and safety of chemicals and lab equipment
- Guide students in practical records, projects, and internal assessments
Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and analytical thinking
Collaboration & Professional Development:
- Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, and training sessions
- Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and modern teaching methodologies
- Collaborate with colleagues for integrated learning approaches
Parent Communication:
- Provide regular updates on student progress and performance
