About the Role
What You’ll Do
As a Social Media Marketer Intern, you’ll work closely with our marketing and growth teams to build and scale TexAu’s online presence across platforms.
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter:
- Support execution of social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and short-form content aligned with our brand voice
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create visually appealing posts, reels, and carousels
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and industry insights to suggest fresh ideas
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks) and help optimize campaigns based on data
- Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
- Assist in managing content calendars and ensuring timely posting
What We’re Looking For
We don’t expect years of experience, but we do look for creativity, consistency, and a strong understanding of social media trends.
- Good understanding of major social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter:
- Robust written communication skills with the ability to write engaging and error-free content
- Basic understanding of content marketing and digital marketing concepts
- Creativity and ability to come up with new content ideas, hooks, and campaigns
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Buffer, or Hootsuite is a plus
- Awareness of social media analytics and performance tracking
- A proactive mindset with eagerness to experiment and learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in brand tone
Nice to Have
- Experience managing social media pages (personal brand, college clubs, internships, or freelance work)
