Store Associate - Supply Chain Management Department (M1-M3)

Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM) - KALA Defence Grade: M1-M3

1. Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Logistics / Commerce.

0-4 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
Basic understanding of material handling, inward/outward processes & documentation.
- Ability to read basic technical documents (PO, challan, invoice, part codes, BOM).
- Knowledge of ERP inventory module, Excel & stock tracking tools preferred.

2. Roles (What the Position Delivers)
- Support Store Incharge in managing daily store operations and material movement.
- Ensure smooth inward, binning, storage, issue & return of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure ERP entries are always up to date.
- Support production by timely issuing materials as per BOM and plan.
- Maintain store discipline, cleanliness, safety & traceability.

3. Responsibilities (Core Ownership Areas)
- Receive materials,



verify quantity & coordinate with QA for inspection clearance.
- Perform binning, labeling, tagging & proper arrangement of materials.
- Issue materials to fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing & project teams.
- Maintain ERP entries for inward, outward, return, transfer notes & stock adjustments.
- Assist in cycle counts, daily stock checks & monthly reconciliation.
- Track material shortages & inform Store Incharge/SCM team.

4. Activities (Daily / Weekly Tasks)
- Check daily inward deliveries & assist in GRN preparation.
- Update stock levels, check bin accuracy & rectify mismatches.
- Support logistics/transport for dispatches & material movement.
- Conduct daily cleaning, 5S activities & maintain store layout discipline.
- Prepare routine reports: rapid-moving item status, shortages & WIP material list.
- Support scrap management, rejected material segregation & documentation.
