Role Overview:
- As a Database administrator, you will have overall responsibility for our databases infrastructure.

- You will be part of a team with mixed skills whose responsibility is daily operation, problem solving, analysis and design.
- Your role as database administrator will be central to the operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance optimization and trend analysis.
- Daily operations and manage existing databases
- Maintain and develop routines for operating database servers
- Manage updates to new versions of SQL Server and MongoDB
- Automate existing routines for more efficient management
- Manage database permissions and security aspects of database management
- Investigate and resolve database related issues/problems
- Manage high availability, RTO/RPO and retention of data
Who are you?:
- Minimum 7 years of work experience
- We are looking for a talent with at least seven years of technical experience and expertise in SQL Server & MongoDB Server, with knowledge about:
- Windows clusters, availability groups and log shipping, installation, upgrading, and migrating SQL Server
- Indexing, index management, statistics, integrity checks, configuration, and patching
- Windows & Linux Server, SQL Server & MongoDB, and the Transact-SQL query language
- Working experience on MongoDB (mandatory)
- Working kKnowledge on Devops (preferred)
- Working knowledge on Cloud - Azure, Google cloud (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of BigQuery, Kubernetes and Terraform (preferred)
- Working knowledge on Backup and Restore methodology - Database + Server (mandatory)
- Proactive with analysing database setting health utilizing monitoring tools
- Query tuning & performance optimization (mandatory)
- Work closely with developers and assist them with providing query tuning recommendations
