About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Survey Engineer with comprehensive expertise in land surveying, topographical surveying, LiDAR, point-cloud processing, CAD, GIS and infrastructure surveys. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete survey workflow — from planning and field data acquisition to processing, analysis, QA/QC and final engineering deliverables. This position requires a consultant-level understanding of surveying and its application in DPR, engineering design and large infrastructure projects.

Primary Responsibilities

- Plan, execute and supervise topographical, land, road, railway, forest and infrastructure surveys.
- Lead survey teams for DGPS/GNSS, RTK/PPK, Total Station, Auto Level, Drone and LiDAR operations.
- Develop appropriate survey methodologies based on project scope, terrain, accuracy requirements and engineering objectives.
- Process and analyse LiDAR and point-cloud data, including classification, filtering, registration, ground extraction and feature
- Generate and validate DTM, DSM, DEM, contours, break lines, terrain models and other survey-derived outputs.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, profiles, cross-sections, surfaces and survey layouts.
- Handle large-area and corridor-based survey projects with strong understanding of survey control, GCPs, TBMs, benchmarks.
- Conduct detailed technical QA/QC of field data, point clouds, surfaces,



CAD drawings and GIS deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, engineers and project teams on technical survey requirements.
- Review TORs, RFPs, specifications and scope documents and translate them into practical survey execution plans.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to field data, processing, accuracy and final deliverables.
- Lead, guide and technically review the work of Survey Engineers, Surveyors, CAD Engineers, GIS Engineers and LiDAR Prc.

Software and Technical Expertise AutoCAD – Expert

Advanced preparation and review of survey and engineering drawings, coordinate-based drafting, layers, Xrefs, feature mapping and large survey datasets.

Autodesk Civil 3D – Expert

Points, point groups, surfaces, TIN, breaklines, contours, alignments, profiles, sample lines, cross-sections, corridors, grading, volumes, cut/fill analysis and plan-profile deliverables.

Global Mapper – Advanced/Expert

LiDAR/LAZ/LAS processing, classification, terrain modelling, elevation analysis, contours, DEM/DTM generation, point-cloud inspection, volume and terrain analysis.

ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro – Advanced

GIS data management, spatial analysis, raster/vector processing, DEM/terrain analysis, coordinate systems, mapping and engineering GIS deliverables.





LiDAR & Point-Cloud Expertise

Strong understanding of the complete LiDAR workflow, including: Survey Planning → Flight/Data Acquisition → GNSS/IMU → Point Cloud Generation → Registration/Adjustment → Classification → QA/QC → DTM/DSM → Feature Extraction → CAD/GIS → Final Deliverables.

Infrastructure & DPR Experience The candidate should have strong experience in engineering and consultancy-level surveying, particularly for: Roads & Highways Railway / Metro / Linear Infrastructure Forest & Hilly Terrain Dams & Irrigation Projects Industrial & Infrastructure Development EPC / PMC / DPR Consultancy Projects

Candidate Requirements

- 7–12+ years of relevant professional experience in surveying/geospatial/infrastructure projects.
- Strong combination of field surveying, LiDAR, point cloud, CAD, Civil 3D and GIS expertise.
- Excellent understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, survey control and accuracy.
- Proven experience in road, railway, forest, land and topographical projects.
- Robust technical judgement and problem-solving ability.
- Capable of reviewing and correcting the work of other survey/CAD/GIS professionals.
- Strong team leadership and client/consultant communication skills.
- Should be capable of independently taking technical ownership of a project from survey planning through final submission.
