About the Role

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to join a Front Office Technology / Investment Engineering team supporting a global financial services organization.

The team builds and enhances technology platforms supporting investment operations, including order management, compliance, portfolio analytics, data platforms, integrations, and AI/agentic capabilities.

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical depth along with the ability to independently own projects from design through production delivery and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver full-stack applications across investment technology platforms.

Take end-to-end ownership of features and workstreams, from requirements and technical design through deployment and BAU support.

Build and maintain integrations across complex multi-system environments involving APIs, data pipelines, and financial workflows.

Develop scalable and maintainable backend applications using Python and Java.

Build user-facing applications using modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.

Support production systems, including performance investigations, incident resolution, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, quantitative teams, product teams, and platform engineers to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.

Contribute to platform modernization and strategic technology initiatives while supporting existing applications.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, technical design, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably within financial services, investment management, banking, capital markets, or another complex enterprise environment.





Strong hands-on development experience with Python.

Strong development experience with Java.

Full-stack development experience with modern UI technologies such as React, Angular, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of APIs, application integrations, distributed systems, and data-driven applications.

Proven ability to independently own and deliver projects with minimal supervision.

Experience supporting production applications and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade software.

Nice to Have

Experience or strong interest in financial markets, investment management, asset management, or capital markets workflows.

Exposure to front-office or investment technology platforms.

Cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies.

Exposure to AI-powered applications, LLMs, agentic frameworks, or GenAI solutions.

Experience working within large-scale, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
