Key Responsibilities

- Actively participate in the design, development, and testing of reference application processor firmware.

- Develop, test, and debug low-level software across various platforms, including software models, development boards, and production systems.

- Create software stacks for Arm's reference platforms targeting future Arm-based devices.

- Develop and maintain test code.

- Build automation solutions to streamline development and testing activities.

- Analyze industry specifications and roadmap requirements, break down tasks, and contribute to project planning and execution.

- Support software upstreaming activities and ongoing maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

- Strong C/C++ programming skills, with the ability to implement new functionality, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.

- Knowledge of assembly programming and strong debugging skills is preferred.

- Experience in software development and/or software testing.

- Strong understanding of system architecture (preferably Arm architecture), operating system fundamentals, bootloaders,



and device drivers.

- Experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems; driver development experience is preferred.

- Positive understanding of testing methodologies, CI/CD practices, and test automation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal English proficiency.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Python programming and shell scripting.

- Basic understanding of the Linux kernel, system software, device drivers, and Android internals.

- Familiarity with open-source development processes and contribution workflows.

- Experience with software profiling, instrumentation, and optimization.

- Firmware verification and validation experience.

- Knowledge of software testing techniques, CI pipelines, and automated test frameworks.

- Experience with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.

- Familiarity with Agile and other software development methodologies.
