Role Description The Senior SAP S/4HANA MDG Technical Consultant will design, implement, and optimize SAP Master Data Governance solutions to support complex business processes and data quality initiatives. This full-time, in office role is based in Bengaluru South and involves collaborating with functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs, configurations, and enhancements within S/4HANA MDG.

The consultant will be responsible for customizing data models, workflows, BRF+ rules, UI configurations, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Day-to-day activities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing performance tuning,



conducting unit and integration testing, and preparing technical documentation. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to solution architecture and best practices, and supporting project planning, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA MDG configuration and development, including data models, process models, workflows, UI modeling, and BRF+ rules.
- Experience with core SAP technologies such as ABAP (including OO and CDS views), Fiori/UI5, ALE/IDocs, and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other systems.
- Proficiency in data management and integration concepts, including master data governance, data quality, data migration, ETL tools, and interface design (REST/OData, SOAP, APIs).
- Solid understanding of at least one functional area (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Customer/Vendor master) and ability to map business processes to MDG solutions.
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP projects, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams on-site.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate with global teams.
