Responsibilities
- D-Wall Construction Oversight: Supervise the entire process of trenching, excavation (using grab or hydro mill), slurry management (bentonite), installation of reinforcement cages, and tremie concrete pouring to ensure structural integrity.
- Site Safety Enforcement: Ensure strict compliance with OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) guidelines, particularly in excavation, crane operations, and working with bentonite plants. Conduct daily "tailgate" meetings to address hazards.
- Blueprint and Specification Interpretation: Read, interpret, and implement complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications for D-wall layouts, depths, and reinforcement details.
- Crew Management and Scheduling: Create daily and weekly "look-ahead" schedules, assign tasks to workers, manage crew attendance, and train crew members on specialized D-wall techniques.
- Machinery and Resource Management: Supervise the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery, including cranes, hydrofrais/grabs, concrete pumps, and slurry separation plants.
- Quality Control & Reporting:



Inspect works in progress to ensure compliance with quality standards, document daily activities (materials, labour hours, equipment usage), and report progress to Superintendents or Project Managers.
- Problem Resolution: Address on-site challenges, such as unexpected ground conditions, equipment failure, or scheduling conflicts, to keep the project on track.

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) as a construction foreman, with specific expertise in deep foundation, earth retention systems, or concrete construction.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of slurry systems (bentonite/polymer), reinforced concrete installation, and heavy equipment operations.
- Leadership: Solid leadership and team-management skills to motivate a diverse crew.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to act as the primary liaison between field workers
