We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centric Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to support the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department. The RMO will assist consultants, manage in-patients, oversee emergency cases, and ensure smooth clinical operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock medical support in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department.
- Assist gynaecologists in OPD, labor room, OT procedures, and patient monitoring.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, history-taking, and clinical examinations.
- Manage labour room patients, monitor fetal well-being, and assist in normal deliveries under supervision.
- Handle gynaecological emergencies and coordinate with consultants for timely interventions.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records, treatment charts, consents, and progress notes.
- Monitor admitted patients and provide timely updates to senior consultants.
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for gynaecological and obstetric procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, and NABH standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, attendants, nursing staff, and consultants.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS/BAMS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid MCI/Haryana Medical Council registration (mandatory).
- 2-5 years of experience
- Clinical experience in a labour room or gynaecology setting preferred.
- Solid decision-making skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Good communication, empathy, and patient-handling skills.
