Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, clinical pathology, etc.).
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, processing, and storage.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
- Prepare reagents, stains, and other laboratory solutions.
- Validate and record test results accurately in the LIS/HIS.
- Ensure adherence to NABH/NABL quality standards, SOPs, and safety protocols.
- Participate in internal and external quality control programs.
- Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and consumables.
- Communicate critical results to physicians and nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the lab environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) / B.Sc.
MLT / M.Sc. MLT.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory
- Hands-on experience with automated analyzers will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of sample processing and laboratory safety guidelines.
- Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
