1. Inventory & Stock Management
- Min-Max Control: Maintain optimal stock levels of critical spares (bearings, seals, valves, gaskets) using ABC/VED analysis to prevent stock-outs during breakdowns.
- Technical Verification: Inspect incoming engineering materials for technical specifications against Purchase Orders (PO) and delivery challans.
- Storage Optimization: Ensure proper binning and tagging of items for easy retrieval. Implement 5S standards within the engineering store.

2. Documentation & Compliance
- ERP/SAP Entry: Perform real-time data entry for material receipts (GRN), issues, and stock transfers.
- Audit Readiness: Lead monthly and annual physical stock verification. Maintain the "Gate Pass" system for Returnable (RGP) and Non-Returnable (NRGP) items sent for external repairs.
- Statutory Records: Maintain updated records for insurance, warranties, and calibration certificates of stored equipment.

Procurement Coordination
- Purchase Requisitions: Raise timely indents for depleted stock and follow up with the Purchase Department for urgent maintenance requirements.
- Vendor Interaction: Coordinate with vendors for material discrepancies, damages, or technical clarifications.
- Cost Control: Monitor and report on slow-moving or obsolete items to minimize "dead" inventory costs.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Com, Graduate, or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. A PG Diploma in Material Management is a plus.
- Experience: 2-5 years in an industrial engineering store, preferably within the Chemical or Pharma industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP (MM Module) or Tally Prime.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for inventory reporting.
- Knowledge of engineering items (Pumps, Motors, Hardware, Gearboxes).
