Job Title: Production Supervisor

Department: Production
Reporting To: Production Manager / Factory Head
Location: Plant / Workshop

Role Purpose

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily production activities to ensure timely completion of jobs with required quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor
- Allocate manpower and resources as per production plan
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines
- Monitor work progress and resolve production-related issues
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch teams
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain production records, reports, and daily output data
- Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and housekeeping (5S)
- Train and guide operators and technicians on processes
- Reduce rework, rejection, and material wastage




- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

- Strong leadership and team-handling skills
- Good understanding of production planning and workflow
- Ability to read drawings and work instructions
- Knowledge of quality systems and safety norms
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports)
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical / Mechanical / Production Engineering
- Experience: 3-6 years in manufacturing or production supervision
- Experience in electrical panel manufacturing / automation industry is preferred

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹34,351.19 per month
