Responsibilities:
- Purchase Planning & Material Requirement: Prepare raw material requirement plans based on production schedules; ensure availability of fabrics, zippers, handles, rods, wheels, foam, threads, etc.
- Procurement & Purchase Execution: Generate purchase indents, process POs, coordinate with vendors for timely procurement.
- Vendor Management: Identify, develop, and maintain suppliers; negotiate price, delivery, and payment terms.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, prevent material shortages, avoid excess inventory, maintain records & reports.
- Production Coordination: Liaise with Production & Store departments to ensure smooth workflow without stoppages.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain purchase records, invoices, GRN, supplier bills; prepare reports on pending POs, stock, material consumption, and vendor performance.
- Cost Optimization:



Support management in cost reduction; ensure quality materials at competitive prices.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of Purchase Planning and Inventory Control
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (bags/luggage preferred)
- Strong vendor communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel (Reporting & Stock Tracking)
- Familiarity with ERP/Tally/SAP is a plus
- Ability to work under production deadlines
- Hands-on experience in raw material procurement
- Familiarity with accessories/components used in bag manufacturing
- Quick problem-solving and coordination skills
- Fabric (Polyester/Nylon/Leather), Zippers, Sliders, Handles, Straps, Wheels, Metal Frames/Rods, Foam & Padding, Threads, Linings, Packaging Material
