The Chief Platform Solution Architect works closely with Product Ownership and Group Leadership and plays a central role in how our platform evolves. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to real systems, real trade-offs, and real engineering decisions. This person owns the target architecture, integration strategy, security and reliability standards, system boundaries, API contracts, and data governance across all products.

Responsibilities (Must Have)
- Define target architecture: microservices, event-driven design, data platforms, device integrations
- Design integration strategy across products (shared identity, billing, telemetry, APIs, multi-tenant data)
- Set standards for security, reliability, observability, and performance
- Own system boundaries, API contracts, and data governance
- Architect the VPP/EMS and charging management integration layer with real-time telemetry
- Guide key engineering decisions and review high-risk changes
- Support hiring and mentoring of senior engineers

Required Experience (Must Have)




- 8 to 12+ years building large-scale distributed systems or platform products
- Proven experience with IoT/telemetry or real-time control systems
- Solid cloud architecture expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, Kubernetes
- Deep API design, security (IAM), multi-tenant data separation
- Ability to communicate architecture clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience defining end-to-end architecture for multi-product platforms and setting technical standards
- Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and Infrastructure as Code

Nice to Have
- Energy, EV charging, trading, or grid markets knowledge
- Kafka/streaming, time-series databases, edge computing experience
- Experience building VPP/DERMS/EMS platforms
- Domain knowledge: GTFS, fleet operations, mobility platforms
- TOGAF, Zachman, or SOA certification
- Experience with OCPP, MQTT, or similar IoT protocols
