Tuscarora Intermediate Unit is a regional educational entity that provides career development, training and supportive services to Pennsylvania's statewide Early Intervention system through Early Intervention Technical Assistance (EITA). Pennsylvania's Early Intervention program provides supports and services to families with children, from birth to age five, with developmental delays and disabilities. EITA is looking for a compassionate, self-motivated, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Helpline Support Staff. In this role, you will provide supportive, understanding, and confidential assistance to families and others who may have a concern about a child's development. You will play a vital part in ensuring callers are connected to local programs for appropriate screening or evaluation of child's development. This position is located onsite at the PaTTAN Harrisburg office.

CONNECT Helpline Customer Service Staff for Early Intervention Technical Assistance (EITA), shall be directly responsible to the Director and Assistant Director of EITA for supervision and evaluation.
Fundamental Duties/Essential Functions
1. Lead staff for the CONNECT Helpline for the statewide Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) / Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports (BEISFS).
2. Maintain compliance with federal and state requirements, processes and guidelines related to the operations of the CONNECT Helpline.
3. Maintain compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and all confidentiality requirements.
4. Complete FERPA and HIPAA privacy training annually and report an
