- As India becomes an increasingly significant market for our global and local audiences, we're seeking an editor who will ensure robust coverage after regular working hours. This role involves working from noon through 9 pm, with the willingness to be flexible in a market where the newscycle can often by 24/7.
- This editor will work closely with the India bureau chiefs and team leaders to plan ahead for scheduled events.



They will be expected to write and/or edit quick and concise stories on breaking news developments, and identify key pieces we should feature on Bloomberg's frontpages and website. A respect for deadlines, smart news judgement, intuitive curation abilities, and excellent communication skills are requirements of the role.
- As a bridge between late-breaking news in India and the Asia markets open, we will rely on you to serve our clients across multiple continents and asset classes. This role is an opportunity to set the agenda on what Bloomberg's global audiences read about India.

We'll trust you to:
- Identify important news as it breaks late in the day and determine the appropriate level of coverage
- Be able to write and edit concise copy and publish to wire relatively quickly
- Build influential relationships across the newsroom with the bureau chiefs, team leaders and editors to ensure our coverage captures the context of local developments and resonates globally
