Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, primarily for web applications. The role requires solid testing fundamentals, Playwright automation, functional and non-functional testing, and basic security testing exposure.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Derive effective test scenarios and test cases covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
- Build and maintain web automation scripts using Playwright.
- Validate RBAC, authentication, authorization, and user permissions.
- Perform basic security testing with awareness of OWASP Top 10.
- Support API and database validation where required.
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear impact and reproduction steps.
- Participate in defect triage, release validation, and regression cycles.
- Use AI tools for basic test case generation,



test data creation, and edge-case identification.
- Apply spec-driven testing by deriving test coverage directly from requirements and specifications.

Must-Have Skills

- 58 years of QA experience.
- Strong manual testing experience.
- Hands-on automation using Playwright.
- Strong web application testing experience.
- Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience in test case design and requirement analysis.
- Knowledge of RBAC, authentication, and authorization testing.
- Basic understanding of OWASP and security testing.
- Exposure to API testing.
- Good debugging, defect reporting, and communication skills.

- Postman / API testing tools.
- SQL / database validation.
- CI/CD and Git exposure.
- Basic performance testing.
- AI-assisted testing exposure.
- Agile / Scrum experience.
