About the Role

- We are looking for an experienced OHE / PSI Procurement Engineer with hands-on experience in procurement of materials and equipment for Railway OHE (Overhead Electrification) and PSI (Power Supply &
- Electrical) projects.

- The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders and timely delivery of OHE/PSI materials as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of OHE and PSI materials for railway electrification projects.

- Source materials as per BOQ, drawings, technical specifications and project requirements.

- Prepare and float RFQs/RFPs to approved and potential vendors.

- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers for OHE/PSI materials.

- Obtain and compare technical and commercial quotations.

- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions with vendors.

- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.

- Follow up on material manufacturing, inspection, dispatch and delivery to project sites.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, Stores and Accounts teams.

- Ensure procurement is aligned with project schedules and material requirement plans.

- Maintain procurement trackers, vendor databases, comparative statements and MIS reports.

- Coordinate with QA/QC for material inspection, testing and approval wherever required.

- Resolve material shortages,



quality issues, delays and vendor-related concerns.

- Monitor market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Ensure procurement is carried out in accordance with company policies and project specifications.
