Location: Pune | Hybrid 3 days/week onsite

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer/Architect to join the Infrastructure Engineering & Design team, focused on enterprise infrastructure, application delivery, networking, load balancing, middleware and security.

This is NOT a Cloud/DevOps role. We are specifically looking for engineers with solid experience in F5/application delivery and enterprise infrastructure, with depth in at least one of Networking, Middleware or Cloud.

- Enterprise Load Balancing / Application Delivery
- Networking & Firewalls
- Middleware Tomcat / JBoss / WebSphere / Apache / WebSeal
- DNS / GSLB / Internet architecture
- WAF / API Gateway / secure application connectivity
- Hybrid infrastructure On-prem + Cloud
- Infrastructure troubleshooting and production support
- Infrastructure design / solutioning exposure

What we are specifically looking for The ideal candidate should have advanced expertise in at least ONE of the following: Networking OR Middleware and intermediate to expert working knowledge of the other infrastructure domains.

Role Responsibilities
- Review application infrastructure requirements and translate them into secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Design and support application delivery architectures involving F5 load balancers, networking, firewalls, WAF and API gateways.
- Work with application, security, cloud/platform and infrastructure teams on solution design.
- Participate in architecture/design reviews and present infrastructure solutions to stakeholders.
- Manage implementation through change requests and support production deployments.
- Troubleshoot application connectivity, traffic flow, load balancing, DNS and infrastructure issues.
- Support highly available and resilient enterprise platforms.
- Contribute to infrastructure standards, technical documentation and platform modernization.
- Work across on-premises, hybrid and cloud infrastructure environments.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING This position is primarily an Infrastructure Engineering / Application Delivery role, not a conventional DevOps or Cloud Engineering position.

Profiles focused primarily on AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, CI/CD or DevOps without F5, enterprise networking, middleware or application-delivery experience will not be considered.

Candidates with strong F5 + Networking, strong Middleware + F5, or strong Infrastructure Networking + Application Delivery backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
