Job Summary:
The Computer Hardware Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing computer hardware systems and related peripherals to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and upgrade computer systems and hardware components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues in desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Repair or replace faulty parts such as RAM, hard disks, motherboards, power supplies, and cables
- Install and configure operating systems and basic software
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime
- Maintain LAN cabling, switches, and basic networking hardware
- Configure printers, scanners, biometric devices, and UPS systems
- Support users with hardware-related issues and system setup
- Maintain records of hardware inventory, repairs, and service history
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for advanced repairs
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security guidelines





Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, routers, switches)
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer support skills

Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / ITI / Certification in Computer Hardware or Electronics
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT is an added advantage

Experience:
- Fresher to 2 years for junior role
- 2+ years for experienced technician

Work Setting:
- Office / School / Service Center / Field-based
- May require on-site visits and flexible working hours

Pay: ₹9,146.85 - ₹19,788.25 per month
