Key Responsibilities

Optimize website for Google News inclusion and ranking

Improve visibility in Google Discover feed

Implement structured data (News Article, Article schema)

Improve E-E-A-T signals and content authority

Create Discover-friendly content strategy

Analyze traffic from Google Search Console (Discover & News tab)

Improve CTR through headline optimization

Fix indexing & crawling issues

Work closely with content & development team

Required Skills:




Strong knowledge of Google News Publisher Center

Experience in getting sites approved in Google News

Deep understanding of Google Discover algorithm

Schema markup & Technical SEO knowledge

Core Web Vitals optimization

Experience with WordPress (Astra theme preferred)

Google Search Console & GA4 expertise

Headline psychology & CTR optimization

Preferred Experience

Experience working with Tech / Blockchain / Crypto niche websites

Proven case studies of increasing Discover traffic
