Job Summary:
The Legal Advisor is responsible for providing legal guidance and support to the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role includes drafting and reviewing legal documents, advising management on legal matters, handling disputes, and protecting the company’s legal interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to management on various legal matters.
- Draft, review, and verify contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure organization operations comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Handle legal notices, disputes, and litigation matters.
- Coordinate with external lawyers and legal consultants when required.
- Review organization policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Prepare legal documents such as agreements, notices, affidavits, and contracts.
- Provide legal support in business transactions and negotiations.
- Maintain proper legal records and documentation.
- Assist in resolving legal issues related to employees, clients,
or vendors.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings if required.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) - Mandatory
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) - Preferred (optional)
- Valid license to practice law (preferred)
- 1-5 years of relevant legal experience
